Guide to Ordering Hurd Replacement
Glass, Sash, or Window & Door Parts
If you have this form in hand, you are in need of a replacement part for your Hurd window or door. And,
your first question is likely, how do I go about getting what I need on order?
Your nearest local Hurd dealer is typically the best resource to work directly with. To find a complete listing of
dealers located near you, simply visit www.hurd.com, select Find A Dealer, and type in your zip code. In
some cases, a dealer may not be accessible or may not offer after-sale service. In these cases, we
encourage you to work directly with our Hurd Parts Center by calling 800-433-4873 extension 1424 or
emailing parts@hurd.com, if looking to purchase parts. If you are filing a warranty claim and unable to source
a local dealer, please contact our Customer Service Department directly at 800-433-4873 extension 1425.
Now that you know where to head with your request, the next part is gathering information. To ensure that
your dealer can give you the best possible assistance in a timely fashion, consider completing the Hurd
Product Service Report on the following pages, before visiting your distributor. This form will help you gather
all the information that your dealer will need.
HELPFUL TIP: Pictures speak a thousand words. Bringing pictures of the product
you have can be very helpful to your dealer to identify the correct replacement
components needed.
You may also have the question of is the replacement part I need under warranty? Here’s a quick summary
from 10,000 ft. Products manufactured from 2006 and prior are for purchase. Products manufactured from
2007 to December 11, 2007 are covered by Hurd’s Goodwill Assistance Program (GAP.) Products
manufactured on December 12, 2008 and after are warrantable to the terms of Hurd’s product warranties. See
your specific warranty for details. Your warranty does not cover labor, therefore, be aware that any additional
services you request of your dealer may incur charges. Additionally, service and handling fees vary by area. It
is a good idea to have an upfront conversation with your dealer about these topics so you are aware.
