CYPRESS LUPA CMOS I mage S ensors P R O D U C T O V E RV I E W In-depth research and extensive experience has led to the development of high speed CMOS image sensors. These devices offer resolution as high as 2048 x 2048 and frame rates up to 500 fps. These features combined with power consumption as low as 150 mW and absolutely no blooming or lag make for highly reliable, high sensitivity image sensors. A D VA N TA G E S LUPA 300 HIGH RESOLUTION The pixels of the LUPA 300 have been designed for high sensitivity and low parasitic light sensitivity and it features a triggered global shutter. The intra-scene dynamic range can be increased using the flexible multiple slope operation mode. NO BLOOMING OR IMAGE LAG LUPA1300-2 and LUPA 3000 The new LUPA 1300 -2 and LUPA 3000 combine a pipelined global shutter with state-ofthe-art integrated features like ADC’s, sequencers and LVDS outputs. LUPA 4000 The LUPA 4000 device is Cypress’ response to an increasing demand for CMOS image sensors with a global shutter for machine vision & traffic monitoring applications with higher resolutions, higher frame rates and higher sensitivities.
