The CPS is designed to provide a durable, attractive and maintenance‐free exit sign. Removable back plate with removable chevrons, two face plates and all mounting hardware for universal mounting options. Damp location listed. An external test switch is standard on all emergency self powered units. High output LED technology, for long life and even illumination. 120/347VAC input, maintenance free, sealed nickel cadmium batteries. Electronic cut‐off circuit prevents over discharge. Mechanical Specifications The CPS is constructed from durable corrosion and flame resistant thermoplastic. Removable back plate with removable chevrons, two face plates and all mounting hardware for universal mounting options. Damp location listed. An external test switch is standard on all emergency self powered units. High output LED technology, for long life and even illumination. Emergency self‐powered units are designed to operate on battery power in the event of a power failure. Battery and charger are completely contained within the enclosure. The CPS emergency unit utilizes solid state transfer technology eliminating relay failure due to particle build up on the relay. Push test switch provided for determining operational status of exit on AC fail. Maintenance free ni‐cad battery providing a minimum emergency duration of 30 minutes with a 24 hour recharge time.
