Translucent Colors - luminous, translucent beads etched with painterly effects. (My signature
treatment - back cover)
Symmetry Series - strong, geometric, high contrast patterns from nature giving the graphic nod
to op-art. Available in Black, Indigo Black (bluish) and sepia (brownish) - on a pearlized Ivory
clay. (front cover)
Bridal Series - translucent beads contrast with the flat intricate white patterns silkscreened
onto their surface. Very ethereal white on filmy bone. (Front cover)
Nautical Series - indigo black dotted symmetry beads artfully combined with delicate bridal
beads. (front cover)
Superflect Series -pulverized metallic leaf buried in translucent clay to bring it alive with
gliittering depth and flash. Great for evenings out.
Artist Statement
Working with simple shapes in repetition, I hope to provoke subconscious visual questions relating to perception and curvature . My predominent material is polymer clay, an incredibly versatile and lightweight medium.
Cozzi lives and works in Brooklyn NY. Her work is sold in galleries boutiques and museum shops thoughout the US. She participates in the New York Gift Fair, Handmade section, and the ACC Baltimore Craft Show, Wholesale and Retail sections.
Louise offers polymer workshops in her studio, nationwide and in Europe. She and her husband, Giovanni, summer in Stresa,
Lago Maggiore, Italy, where she hosts and teaches summer workshops, vacations and experiments with new work.
