Navitas USA pathways
Navitas USA offers an Undergraduate Pathway Program
(UPP) at its five partner universities and a Pre-Master’s
Program (PMP) at UMass Boston, Dartmouth and Lowell
and Florida Atlantic University. The UPP and PMP are both
designed to prepare international students for university
studies in the United States.
UPP
PMP
The UPP is equivalent to the first year of
a bachelor’s degree. The UPP is a two
or three semester program, consists
of for-credit courses and provides an
academic and cultural bridge from your
high school experience to studying for a
university degree in the United States. Upon
successful completion of the UPP, you will
move directly into the second year of your
chosen degree.
The PMP prepares students for graduate
degree courses and programs. The PMP is a
one or two-semester program designed for
students who have completed a bachelor’s
degree, but need additional academic and/
or English support to gain entry to a master’s
program. No GMAT or GRE is needed
to apply.

Navitas Canada pathways
Navitas Canada provides a wide range of pathway programs
at ICM and FIC which are equivalent to the first year of a
university degree. A Canadian degree will help you to achieve
your career objectives and fulfil your personal aspirations!
UTP Stage I
UTP Stage II
Pre-MBA (FIC only)
This program is designed for students who
require additional academic courses before
starting a full university degree equivalent
program. Entry into UTP is dependent
on successful completion of Year 11
or equivalent.
This program is equivalent to the first year of
a university degree program. Entry into UTP
II is dependent upon successful completion
of UTP I or satisfactory completion of Year
12 or equivalent. Entry into second year
of your university degree is dependent on
successful completion of 10 courses equal
to 30 credit hours with a stipulated Grade
Point Average (GPA).
This is a one semester program designed
to prepare students for the full time MBA
at Simon Fraser University. Applicants must
have a bachelor degree, work experience
and complete a successful interview with
the Beedie School of Business.

UMass Dartmouth has campuses located
on the South Coast of Massachusetts in
the cities of Dartmouth, New Bedford, and

on the Dartmouth Campus and will take

UMass Dartmouth’s ESL program will also
take classes at the Fall River location. The

On-campus accommodation
FIC students may choose to live in SFU
residences at the Burnaby campus, just a
short walk from classes. The residences
feature single-room accommodation with
extra-long beds and high-speed Internet
access, and common rooms with shared
TVs and microwaves. They also have a
dining hall and a meal plan that is available
to the entire residence community. Buses
operate between the campus and Greater
Vancouver’s rapid transit system at the foot
of Burnaby Mountain on a regular basis.
SFU also has an on-campus hotel where
