Application
The NEMA HJ series of fiberglass
enclosures includes an overlapping
door and the integral mounting brackets often required in petrochemical,
water treatment, and other corrosive
environments. Choices of door style
and door fasteners and a wide range
of sizes provide application flexibility.
Construction
Made from corrosion-resistant hot
compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester. Overlapping solid, clear,
or window door available in both raised and flat
designs. Door fastening options include screws or
padlockable Type 316 stainless steel latches. Type 304 stainless steel piano
hinges on hinged models. Integral mounting brackets. Enclosures protect
equipment and operators from indirect electrical contact. Color: light gray
inside and out.

Application
The Hoffman Watershed™ NEMA 4X stainless
steel free-standing enclosure is designed for use
in sanitary washdown production environments
like food, beverage, or pharmaceutical processing. These same features also are useful in petrochemical plants, pulp and paper facilities, and
water treatment plants.
Construction
12 gauge Type 304 stainless steel; back is 10
gauge. Seams continuously welded and ground
smooth. Hinges are shielded by door edges.
Hinged side of door has provisions to allow direct
flushing of hinge area. 20-degree sloped top facilitates runoff of water and cleaning solutions and
prohibits the placement of objects on the top of
the enclosure. Heavy duty three-point latching
mechanism operated by a POWERGLIDE®
Type 316 stainless steel padlocking handle on all doors. Seamless foam-inplace one-piece gasket provides oil-tight, water-tight, and dust-tight seal
against contaminants. Heavy duty lifting eyes are Type 316 stainless steel.
Furnished hardware kit consists of panel mounting nuts, grounding hardware,
and hole seals for bottom mounting holes.

•Smoke gray 0.25-in. thick polycarbonate window on
upper front door
•Quarter-turn latches on upper front door for 1400mm
high cabinets
•PROLINE® latching system and keylocking swing
door handles on upper front door for 1600mm and
1800mm high cabinets
•Options include: Solid lower front and full rear doors
with keylocking swing door handles, solid upper door,
solid front and rear covers with screw fastners
• Internal rails facilitate mounting of PROLINE® internal components
• Full rear opening provides maximum mounting space
• Hinges on bottom for 1400mm enclosures
Finish: Cabinet finish is RAL 7035 textured light gray polyester powder paint.
Keyboard door finish is RAL 9005 textured black polyester powder paint.
