We are seeking a Medical Officer to join the Defence Force Recruiting Medical Assessment team located in Hobart.
The position is responsible for medically assessing candidates to determine their suitability for entry into the
Australian Defence Force (ADF) in accordance with defence policy. The role requires a high level of interpersonal and
communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Some
interstate travel is required. Specific experience in pre-employment medicals would be desirable as is confidence

Tasmanian Community Clinic (TCC) is a clinic that supports modern day practice within the community and primary
care setting, and now have sessional suites available for use. Currently sessions are provided for nurse practitioner,

General Practitioner to support Inpatient Rehabilitation Service
Part-time role with great flexibility.
We are seeking an enthusiastic GP who is looking for flexible part-time work to support our Inpatient Rehabilitation
Service based in Launceston. The GP must be registered with AHPRA, hold a Medicare provider number and
prescriber number. The role of the GP is to review rehabilitation referrals prior to admission, review patients on
admission, write up drug charts and provide ongoing medical treatment to patients as necessary. The GP will work
closely with a multi-disciplinary team including the Rehabilitation Consultant Physician, Physiotherapists, Occupational
Therapists, Allied Health Assistants and Nurses.

VR GP for Northern Midlands Medical Services
Northern Midlands Medical Services is seeking a VR GP to join the practice on either a full-time or part-time basis.
The privately-owned practice provides health services to a population of appoximately 12,500 people in the greater
Northern Midlands community. (Established over 40 years ago, the practice recently opened a branch surgery at the
nearby town of Perth.) The practice provides support to nearby aged care facility, Toosey Nursing Home (50 aged

GP/VMO, Rosebery, TAS
Due to the departure of an established GP from the Rosebery Practice, an experienced GP/VMO is required to work
on a full-time basis. An established patient base will be inherited and there is requirement to work a 1:2 oncall VMO
roster at the hospital.
The practice is the only private medical centre in Rosebery and there is opportunity to add to an already impressive
patient base. Working alongside one other GP/VMO, the incumbent will receive nursing and administrative support,
and will provide outreach GP Only services to the nearby town of Zeehan. An excellent retention grant is available as
Rosebery is classified an RA3 (Outer Regional) location and Zeehan an RA4 (Remote).
The local community health centre has no inpatient facilities and provides a 24/7 A&E service, with the majority of
major presentations being transferred to Burnie which is a 1.5 hour drive away.
Position requirements: A minimum of General Registration with AHPRA; at least two years general practice experience
in Australia (or as assessed by RACGP); and up to date ED skills and certificates (APLS, ELS etc). The doctor will be
proficient with common general practice conditions, familiar with indigenous health issues and able to manage patients
with increased rates of morbidity from vascular diseases, diabetes, alcohol use and related illnesses. In their capacity
as VMO at a public hospital, the doctor will also be proficient with airway management and emergency care of critically
unwell patients (advanced life support skills).
