The FAN2011 and FAN2012 are high-efficiency (95%), low-noise synchronous
PWM current mode DC/DC converters. These buck regulators offer the best
lineup of combined features for reducing system size, increasing functionality and
decreasing board space. These integrated regulators have on-chip MOSFETs and
come in tiny 6-terminal 3x3 mm Molded Leadless Packages (MLP). The converters’
adjustable output voltage (from 0.8 V to VIN) allows designers the flexibility to
address a wide range of DC/DC applications. Their high fixed operating frequency
(1.3 MHz) facilitates the use of smaller external components. Ideal for low-power
applications, the FAN2011 is always "on", while the FAN2012 has an enable pin
that offers designers the ability to implement power management schemes for
power conservation.

Industry's most integrated video filter in the smallest package
Drivers ensure exceptional system reliability and high efficiency
This integrated video filter offers tri-level sync and a bypass
mode that permits the passing of 1080p and HDTV signals.
Since it features true 2:1 Mux inputs for YPbPr or RGB
inputs and triple 6th order filters with selectable 30, 15 or
8 MHz cutoff frequencies, FMS6403 accommodates the full
range of worldwide video formats. This device offers designers
the advantage of having a single, space-saving filtering
solution that can be used across the entire spectrum of video
applications for DVD players, set-top boxes and high
definition TVs (HDTVs).
These high-performance half-bridge gate driver ICs, FAN7380
and FAN7382, ensure exceptional system reliability and efficiency
in a range of consumer and industrial applications. The FAN7380
and FAN7382 significantly improve system reliability by utilizing
an innovative common mode dv/dt noise canceling circuit that
provides excellent noise immunity. These components deliver
an advanced level shift circuit permitting industry-leading,
high-side driver operation with negative VS swings of up to -9 V
(@ VBS=15 V). Both products feature the industry's lowest
quiescent currents resulting in extremely low power consumption.
With a voltage capability up to 600 V and a very fast switching
speed [dv/dt = 50 V/ns (max)], these devices are optimal for
driving MOSFETs and IGBTs in a wide array of applications
including air conditioners, washing machines, LCD monitors,
electronic ballasts and industrial motor controls.

1 Vpp or 2 Vpp signals into AC or DC coupled terminated
loads with a 1 Vpp input
• AC-coupled inputs with DC restore and bias circuitry

standard video requirements

Industry's first Smart Power Module (SPM™) for switched reluctance motors
Increase three-phase inverter drive design flexibility with the industry's most
compact DIP packaging
The FCAS50SN60 integrates one high-voltage IC (HVIC) and
low-voltage IC (LVIC), IGBTs, fast recovery diodes and a thermistor into one Smart Power Module (SPM™). This device comes in
an ultra-compact (44 mm X 26.8 mm) Mini-DIP package featuring Direct Bonding Copper (DBC) technology that significantly
increases thermal performance. The FCAS50SN60 not only
reduces power circuit space by up to 40% compared to typically
used discrete solutions, it also enables designers to incorporate the
controller into the SRM assembly. This module greatly reduces
overall system size while simultaneously enhancing reliability.
Fairchild's Smart Power Module series, in 44 mm by 26.8 mm
DIP packaging, integrate high-voltage ICs (HVICs),
low-voltage ICs (LVICs), IGBTs and fast recovery diodes.
These SPMs allow manufacturers to increase system efficiency
by replacing standard motors with higher efficiency 3-phase
inverter motors. These devices ensure reliability, cost-effectiveness, and lower part count for consumer applications such as
washing machines and air conditioners.

Reducing component count with USB switching
Configurable voltage supplies, signal levels and 3-STATE outputs
FSUSB22 is the ideal choice for high-speed USB switching in
ultra-portable design applications with its combined low power
(less than 1 µA), wide bandwidth (>720 MHz) and small
(DQFN) package. The wide bandwidth allows passage of 3rd
harmonic frequencies critical for maintaining maximum signal
integrity with minimal distortion, jitter and phase noise. It
is configurable either as a dual Double Pole / Double
Throw (DPDT) switch or four-channel 2:1 multiplexer /
demultiplexer for USB 2.0 connector sharing or port isolation.
The FXL2T245L translates logic levels from high-to-low or
low-to-high within ultra-portable applications. The device offers
a wide voltage operating range from 1.1 V to 3.6 V and is
packaged in space efficient MicroPak™ packaging accommodating the needs of cell phones, MP3 players and other portables.
