Description
A new service is now available to support marine engine sales.
Through ISA / Price Lists, custom 2D and 3D drawings can be ordered at the
same time as an engine order is placed. These will be ESO specific and
correspond exactly to the ordered configuration. Typical lead time for these
drawings is two to four weeks after order, depending on complexity. Significant
DTO items will increase the lead time.
The following options are now available:

C7, C9, C12, C18, C32, 3500, and C175 Propulsion, Auxiliary, Gen Set Engines
and Generator Sets
- Simplified Geometry 3D engine or gen set model of ordered Cat engine
configuration. File will be delivered as standard in STP file format. Certain other
file formats can potentially also be provided upon request. Model includes
detailed geometry at customer connection locations.
- Full set of 2D custom engine or gen set installation drawings for ESO specific
configuration in DWG and PDF format, including 6 views and attachments.
And discounted pricing for 2nd set with similar configuration (Left Hand and
Right Hand Service for example)
- Customer additions which were outside the scope of Cat supply. Examples are
couplings, clutches, gear boxes, pumps, and generators. Details of components to
be added must be provided to IDC thru the ASC website, and incur an additional
cost per component.
Availability
Custom 2D and 3D drawings are available now to quote and order.
These new Custom Drawing options are not available for C280 and Wimborne
products. (LIT0007 – Project Specific Installation Drawings continues to be
available for C280)

DRAW001 (0V5289) 3D SIMPLIFIED GEOMETRY ENGINE .......$1,600 NET
Simplified Geometry 3D engine model of ordered Caterpillar
configuration. File will be delivered as standard in STP file format
and will be approximately 75MB total file size (unzipped). Other
file formats can also be provided. Model includes detailed geometry
at customer connection locations.
DRAW005 (0V5296) 3D SIMPLIFIED ENGINE 2ND SET ...........$933 NET
Delivers a second 3D engine model specific to ESO. This is only
intended for multiple models with similar configuration, i.e. LH & RH
where another model has been ordered on another ESO.
DRAW002 (0V5290) 2D ENGINE INSTALLATIONDRAWINGS .....$2,000 NET
Delivers a full set of 2D custom engine installation drawings
for ESO specific configuration in DWG and PDF format, including
6 views and attachments.
DRAW003 (0V5291) 2D ENGINE DRAWINGS 2ND SET ...........$933 NET
Delivers second set of custom 2D engine installation drawings
specific to ESO. This is only intended for multiple sets of
drawings with similar configuration, i.e. LH & RH where another
set of complete drawings has been ordered on another ESO.
DRAW006 (0V5297) 3D SIMPLIFIED GEOMETRY GENSET ......$2,400 NET
Simplified Geometry 3D model of ordered Caterpillar Genset
configuration. File will be delivered as standard in STP file
format and will be approximately 125MB total file size (unzipped).
Other file formats can also be provided. Model includes detailed
geometry at customer connection locations.
DRAW007 (0V5298) 2D GENSET INSTALLATIONDRAWINGS .....$3,067 NET
Delivers a full set of 2D custom genset installation drawings
for ESO specific configuration in DWG and PDF format, including
6 views and attachments.
DRAW004 (0V5292) 3D&2D DRWG CUSTOMER COMPONENTS ....$533 NET
Select this for customer additions which were outside the scope
of Caterpillar supply. Examples are couplings, clutches,
gear boxes, pumps, and generators.
Select one for each item added.
Details of components to be added must be provided to IDC
thru the ASC website.
