GENERAL
the e260 / e270 euro Series is a small scale, contemporary architectural fixture design. the e260 is provided
with a clear or frosted acrylic tapered cylindrical molded
diffuser with vertical direct optics. the e270 uses an
indirect optic system for a softer light distribution. all are
provided with tool-less access for ease of maintenance.
POST FITTER
the fitter shall be heavy wall, 356 alloy, cast aluminum
for high tensile strength. it shall have an inside diameter
opening to accept a 4” round pole or tenon. When
ordered with a Sternberg pole, the fitter shall be set
screwed to the pole top or tenon. the fitter is provided
with a cover for tool-less access to the wiring chamber.

BALLAST HOUSING - E260
the ballast housing shall be heavy wall, 356 alloy, cast
aluminum for high tensile strength. the housing shall be
an integral part of the fixture roof.
BALLAST HOUSING - 270
the ballast driver is housed in the upper section of the
heavy wall, die cast aluminum roof and is easily accessible
by means of a hinged roof with a latch or vandal resistant
screws.

e260 / e270 euro Series is U.L. or e.t.L. listed in
WEIGHT = 30 LBS
U.S. and canada. H.i.D. ballasts for Metal Halide, and
compact fluorescent (cpLt) shall be electronic high
power factor with lamp starting down to –30 degrees c. Medium base porcelain or t6
bi-pin sockets are 4KV rated. the ballast/socket assembly shall be pre-wired when ballast is located in the fixture. Ballasts shall be Doe eiSa compliant.
FIXTURE HOUSING
the e260 / e270 euro Series fixtures shall be 13” wide and the overall height shall be 19”.
they shall be made of heavy wall, 356 alloy, cast aluminum. the e270 lens will be made
from tempered glass. the e260 diffuser will be made of vandal resistant clear or frosted
molded acrylic.

SpecificationS
spun reflector system in combination with a spun aluminum lamp reflector which
provides cut-off. the reflector cavities shall be made of specular anodized aluminum.
type 3 (io3) and type 5 (io5) are available for t6 lamps only.
PHOTOCELLS
photocells shall be the electronic button type. they shall be on the access plate of the pole shaft
and not pre-wired as ballast housing assemblies and fitters are packaged separately for ease of
wiring to source. the electronic button type photocell is instant on and a 5-10 second turn off
and shall turn on at 1.5 footcandles with a turn-off at 2-3 footcandles. photocells are 120-277
volt.
ARMS
all arms are made of cast aluminum and /or extruded aluminum. arms with decorative
filigree have meticulously detailed scroll work and gracefully curved brackets. all euro
Series fixtures shall be bolted to the arm to ensure arms will be plumb, secure and level
over the life of the installation.
FINISH
prior to coating, each assembly shall be chemically cleaned and etched in a 5-stage
washing system which includes alkaline cleaning, rinsing, phosphoric etching, reverse
osmosis water rinsing and non-chrome sealing to ensure corrosion resistance and excellent adhesion for the finish coating. the finish coating shall be electrostatically applied
semi-gloss, super durable polyester powder baked at 400 degrees for a durable and superior, color retentive finish. our optional antique Verde Green finish and Swedish iron
finish are hand brushed using a 3-step process. the total assembly shall be wrapped in
shockproof wrapping or fully enclosed in corrugated cartons.
