2014 GYN SCHOOL JULY 12-14 Westin River North | Chicago, Illinois Co-Sponsored By: TARG E T I NG C A NC E R C A RE THE FIRST COMBINED MEETING OF ABS, ASCO, ASTRO, & SGO GYN SCHOOL JULY 12-14, 2014 An Invitation to Join Us Dear Colleagues: We are pleased to host the FIRST multidisciplinary Gynecologic Cancers Symposium, led by the American Brachytherapy Society (ABS), and co-sponsored by ASCO, ASTRO, and SGO, in Chicago, Illinois, from July 12-14, 2014. This will be the first combined meeting of these distinguished societies and is meant to foster collaboration between radiation oncologists, gynecologic oncologists, and medical oncologists. To begin the meeting, cervical brachytherapy, intact cervix and vulvar contouring workshops will be available for participation on July 12th. There will also be a concurrent difficult brachytherapy case session to attend. On July 13-14th, this first multidisciplinary Gynecologic Cancer Symposium will focus on “state-of-the-science” topics related to endometrial, vulvar, and cervical cancers. Experts from all specialties will participate in these presentations. Podium and poster abstracts will also be presented. With this collaborative effort, our hope is to further the management of patients with gynecologic cancers and also provide a valuable learning experience for the physicians who care for them. We welcome you to Chicago and are enthusiastic about the initiation of this collaborative “state- of –thescience” meeting. Sincerely, Beth A.
