HWN 2101350 Packing instruction – inward goods movements HWN 2101335 Parts subject to mandatory serial numbering WGN 2127303 Part identification 3 Parts subject to mandatory identification Parts shall be subject to mandatory identification within the meaning of this standard whenever they belong to any of the groups indicated in item 3. To limit the effort required for parts identification to a reasonable extent, the following rules shall apply: Every part of a new plant shall be identified in accordance with this HWN as a general rule. If not subject to mandatory identification yet, parts shall be identified whenever they are complemented by the technical Service department or when they have been approved as subject to identification by the steering committee for development and design. This is marked by the following: Signing position / identification as per HWN 2125621 The following must be considered for the identification / signing position during the design phase: - Distinctive areas visible at the finished machine should not be used for identification - The component must not be impaired by identification (e.g., strength) - The signing position should be detectable in the installed condition. 5.2 Subordinate parts – mostly steel components (TKZ group 0) 5.2.1 Excecution of part identification The identification happens by blow counts, needles, engraving or etching. 5.2.2 Contents and structure The identification must be consistent. 4.2.2.1. Contents Identification consists of 3 lines containing the following information: - Material number with revision status - Year of manufacture, week of manufacture and/or serial manufacturing number - Identification symbol of manufacturing company or vendor number and plant identifier, if any (if more than one manufacturing facility) 4.2.2.2. Structure The font size or overall dimensions of the identification depend on the component part. Make certain that the identification is readable clearly and unambiguously. Size of identification area: at least 40 mm x 30 mm (width x height) 1st line: 1st to 7th digit (mandatory) 8th to 9th digit 2nd line: (optional) Material number (e.g. 2034681) Revision status (e.g. 04 for 4th change/revision status) 1st and 2nd digit: Week of manufacture (e.g. 02 for calendar week 2 ect.) 3rd and 4th digit: Manufacturer year (10 for 2010, 11 for 2011 ect.) or multi-digit serial manufacturing number 3rd line: Any number of digits: (mandatory) Example: Vendor/supplier number (e.g. 78634) 203468104 1002 78634 Expert: AK-HWN © 2009 by HAMM AG Date / Name: 2009-04-01 / Fes Language: EN HAMM AG Revision Date: 2016-04-26 / MM 2125621_06 4 / 10 Parts marking/identification HWN 2125621 Revision: 06 5.3 Parts identification group I – Identification with a figurative mark or word mark 5.3.1 Layout TKZ IA/IB • Shown at a preferred scale (also see the SAP document number: 4850776) • No size modification is allowed unless diagonally and using a factor between a minimum of 0.5 and a maximum of 5. • Do not show the frame • The font to be selected is Verdana. of the material number.
