VALUE ADDED COURSES

The Department of Civil Engineering organized a value added course on AutoCadd on
17.08.2015 - 18.08.2015 and 24.08.2015 - 25.08.2015.

The Department of Civil Engineering organized a value added course on STAADPro on
19.08.2015 - 20.08.2015 and 26.08.2015 - 27.08.2015.

The Department of Civil Engineering organized a value added course on Revit
Architecture on 21.08.2015 - 22.08.2015 and 28.08.2015 - 29.08.2015.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a value added course on “Solid
Works”. 75 Mechanical Engineering students have attended the same.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with CAD Technologies,
Coimbatore organized a value added course on “CATIA”.

An assesment by UTL Technologies, Bangalore has been done for III Year ECE students
to identify and to provide Industrial Training on Core areas of ECE. This is a four
semester Program to open core industry employment oppurtunities.

The Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering in association with M/s
Yokogawa India ltd, Bangalore, organized a value added course on “DCS Fundamentals
& Engineering with PLC Concept” between 28.07.2015 and 02.08.2015.

Oracle certification course is offered by Sri Krishna I TECH. The course duration is 6
months. 26 students of IT department are enrolled in the Oracle certification. It was
started on 23.03.2015

JAVA certification course is offered by Sri Krishna I TECH. The course duration is
3months. The course was started on 07.07.2015.

JAVA/ORACLE certificate course for III year CSE students has been started from
24.07.2015 and totally 50 students are attending the classes.

A Screening Test was for all I Year students students by BEC.

Third and final year students of Mechanical engineering secured Sate level Second
Place & National Level 13th Place & 5th Place for Design Virtuals National Level in the
Quad-Troc Event held at Faridabad, Delhi held between 01.08.2015 and 04.08.2015.

A session on Role of Parents in sports organised by CII IWN &
sponsored by Sri Krishna Institutions was held on 14.08.2015 at Taj Vivanta.
The guest was Ms. Nirupama Vaidyanathan Tennnis players and Author. Smt
S.Malarvizhi Convenor, IWN Coimbatore Zone,Chairperson and Managing
Trustee, SKI Institutions delivered the welcome address. Ms.Nirumpama
Vaidyananthan spoke on effective strategy in adopting sports. She gave nine
important guidelines for parents. She expressed her interested in establishing a
Tennis academy at Coimbatore.
