Bethan Gray has taken inspiration from the stud work found on Asian and Arabic doors to develop the aesthetic on her
Stud range of tables. Studding was traditionally used to join two materials together, such as leather or wood, and was later used as a decorative embellishment of it’s own.
Handmade in London, Bethan’s Stud Mirror embodies her signature style - a love of detail, tactile textures and luxurious natural materials. The mirrors feature include hand-applied, intricately detailed elegant brass or nickel studs that bring a warm, contemporary aesthetic to the piece.
The mirrors are wrapped in beautiful Spinneybeck leather, with exquisite stitch detail. This luxurious detail demonstrates the high level of craftsmanship that goes into each and every Bethan Gray piece.

Our Stud mirrors are covered in high quality Spinneybeck Finished Leather, which has a smooth, satin finish. It’s breathable protective finish makes it most suitable for high traffic areas or contract use.
The collection has been used extensively in residential development as well as the hospitality sector, and also for visual merchandising in retail.

Supple and luxurious hand-stitched leather has been specially crafted for furniture use, giving a durable, water and stain- resistant surface. The changing beauty of fine natural leather, and it’s amazing durability, mean it is most practical.
Leather is resilient - it adjusts to the environment. It mellows gracefully with age. Leather is expected to change; even the oil from our hands help to develop the patina. Full grain leather is not demanding and requires very little care.

Dust regularly. A periodic wipe with a cool damp cloth is sufficient means of cleaning under normal conditions. Minor spots can be washed off using lukewarm water and mild soap. Do not soak. Never clean with abrasive solvents, alcohol, or wax-based products. Approved maintenance products are available from Spinneybeck.

Bethan has recently explored how one palette can contain both soft, muted, warm and feminine elements as well as having very rich, deep, highly pigmented and sophisticated colours too. Drawing initial inspiration from the more unusual varieties of stone, such as deep greens and soft pink marbles, Bethan has selected a range of sumptuous complementary leather colours. These colours can be combined in the Three Colour mirror.

Our pieces have been designed with tailoring for the Interior Design and A&D markets in mind. As each of our pieces are handmade the diameter of our mirrors can be adjusted at a small surcharge, which can be seen on our current price list.
Please note that any increase beyond 40% , or change in shape of the mirror is also possible.
