unauthorized entry. The Speed-Guardian ™ 4000 secures the
building with a 1-5/8” thick door panel made of hot-dipped
galvanized steel, which provides a durable and lasting surface.
A urethane core with an R-value of 13.6 and U-value < 0.5
(U-value of core) provides optimal insulation, reduces loss of
conditioned air and contributes to energy savings. Doublepane windows provide superior insulation and protection from
breakage, and ventilation slats are available to allow for air
circulation into the building while the door is closed for
security.
In condominiums and parking garages where operational
dependability is critical, the fast operating speed of the 4000
and built-in guide track light grid reduce the chance of impact
and damage to the door, preventing downtime, assuring that
visitors are able to enter and exit freely.
Automotive Retail
Specified for service entrance / exit door openings, in
both new construction and renovation projects, owners
of automotive retail facilities are incorporating the SpeedGuardian™ 4000 into building designs for added aesthetic
appeal. The door sections roll-up into a circular bracket
for fast opening speeds and precise door travel. Thanks
to non-contact roll-up technology, there is no wear on the
door sections, which maintains a clean appearance of the
door. Exclusive Duratec® insulated windows are coated with
a special finish which prevents marks and scratches caused
by cleaning, and retain clear view after many cleanings. The
synthetic double panes provide excellent thermal insulation
while being fully transparent. Choose the complete vision
(CV) panel for maximum visibility through the door and for the
pleasing aesthetic appeal some applications require. Two
hurricane rated models are available.
Fire Stations and Emergency Service
The Speed-Guardian™ 4000 high speed security door is characterized by an elegant
Micrograin surface finish with hot-galvanized, double-skinned steel sections providing
excellent thermal insulation and fast opening speeds thanks to non-contact roll-up technology
and a standard built-in light grid. It is a proven door solution in these applications: automotive
retail dealerships, fire stations, police station parking, office / condominium / government
building parking garages, sally ports, armored car facilities, bank centers and industry.

Fire stations and emergency service facilities need their doors
to open as fast as possible to allow for the exit of emergency
vehicles. The Speed-Guardian ™ 4000 opens at a speed of
80” / second; a 12’0” high door will open in four to five
seconds. The compact guide tracks enable the 4000 to fit
into existing building dimensions, whether in a renovation or
new construction layout, as opposed to bi-folding doors which
require more side room clearance and may require enlarging
the overall size of the building as a result.
Exclusive 5 / 2 / 7 Warranty
Our warranty is the best in the industry: The motor / gearbox
(excludes catch system) is guaranteed against defects in
materials and workmanship for 5 years. All other mechanical
and electrical components are warranted against defects for
2 years and the vision panels have a 7 year warranty against
