Four-inch aperture NHP-4P20
vertical HID downlight designed for use with CMH 20W GX10/MR16 metal
halide lamp. Equipped with electronic ballast and thermal protector. Access above ceiling
required.

CONSTRUCTION
Housing and Plaster Frame
Plaster plate is steel construction with two universal mounting brackets that adjust 3-1/8"
vertically, and 3-7/8" horizontally. Universal brackets accept flat bar hangers, C-Channel or
1/2" EMT conduit pipe. Also with fingers on all sides to hold flat bar hangers. Accommodates
up to 5/8" ceiling thickness.

Socket
4KV pulse rate 600V, porcelain GX10 socket mounted on stationary yoke, and supplied with
trim. Eight inch lead with molex connects trim to housing.

Trim
Adjustable elbow trim allows fine-tuned aiming 90˚ vertical and 359˚ rotation. Small tab on
face of trim for ease of lamp replacement. Two spring brackets secure trim in housing.

Junction Box
Prewired 25 cubic inch .064" thick galvanized steel, with seven 7/8" knockouts, four Romex®
pryouts, and snap on covers. All leads are #18AWG wire, the ground wire is connected to the
bottom, and quick connectors are supplied on all leads. Through branch circuit wiring,
(4 in, 4 out).
