The integration of the March Networks® 8000 Series NVR and the DMP Control Panel
offers a superior solution for integrating and managing IP-based digital video, and alarms
from control panels. The integration allows both alarms and events from DMP’s XR550
and XR500 Panels to be seen and recorded by an 8000 Series NVR. The NVR can then
initiate a variety of actions in response to those alarms. The result is a tightly integrated
alarm panel and video management system that enables faster incident response times
and better risk mitigation, as well as a stronger overall security solution.
With this integration, any DMP control panel event can initiate a wide range of actions
via the March Networks NVR. For example, the control panel will monitor specific
access points, typically at a key card or badge entry system. The panel can also monitor
for specific alarms, such as burglar, fire, panic, etc., which could be associated with a
particular area. When one of these access points or alarms are triggered, the NVR initiates
a pre-defined action, such as displaying live video pop-up’s, moving PTZ cameras to preset
locations, or sending notification emails (when used in conjunction with ESM). All alarms
and events appear within the system alarm logs and can be searched and viewed when
playing back recorded video.

• The 8000 Series NVRs can monitor any alarm that occurs on a DMP panel, including
burglar, fire, emergency, and panic alarms.
• The NVR can monitor for alarms and events by zone or area.
• All alarms and events are logged, recorded, and are searchable on the NVR.
• The NVR can initiate an action/output in response to an alarm (e.g., a panic button)
or an event (e.g., a card swipe).
