Description: Trim-Tex Magic Corner Expansion Bead is designed to
prevent cracks and finish any inside drywall corner where movement is
an issue.

Advantages: Features a co-extruded flexible PVC center with expansion
control that eliminates edge cracking on all off angle walls and vaulted
ceilings. Up to 3/8" in controlled movement. Made from rust proof, dent
resistant PVC to reduce jobsite and handling damage. Does not contain
cellulose, a potential food source for mold
Limitations: Product is designed for interior use.

Applicable Standards: Rigid PVC products made by Trim-Tex meet
ASTM specifications D3678-97, D1784-03, C1047-99 and achieve a
Class A rating for flame spread and smoke developed when tested under
ASTM E84-10.

Installation: For long runs, it may be helpful to snap a chalk line as a
guide for the Magic Corner Bead. To install the bead, cut the bead to
length. Spray the bead and then the drywall with Trim-Tex 847 Spray
Adhesive. Immediately apply to the drywall. Once in position, press the
legs into place using a Trim-Tex installation tool or the handle of your
taping knife. Staple both legs every 6"-8" with 1/2" long divergent staples.
Detailed installation instructions are included with each of the product
Finishing: For the ultimate performance, brush in the center of the
Magic Corner with an exterior acrylic semi-gloss paint. Always use high
quality paints as they bond better and have more flexibility than more
inexpensive brands. Do not prime the flexible center of the Magic Corner.
If applying primer by spray, try not to spray any primer into the flexible
center. The heavier the paint is applied, the worse the paint will perform.
Brush in a coat of the final paint color.
