The inaugural ACF SA President’s Annual Gala Dinner was held at TAFE SA
Regency Campus Graduates Restaurant on Monday night. The 240 guests
attending enjoyed a menu created and cooked by SA Young Chefs Club,
including SA Nestlé Golden Chefs Hat and SA Secondary School Culinary
Challenge winning teams. They were mentored by Ross Hannah, Jenni Key and
Tiffany Hughes.
The ingredients, auction and raffle prizes were sponsored by very generous South Australian
suppliers. Many thanks to all.
Many of the sponsors attended the dinner and brought guests whilst the music was supplied by
“Pulse”.
Life Membership was bestowed upon Conrad Melvaine, for his
service and dedication to the Australian Culinary Federation SA
Chapter. Conrad was a foundation member of the SA Chapter.
President Peter Milosevic hosted the evening, and the money
raised will assist in funding a South Australian Young Chef to
attend the World Congress in Greece, to assist Jenni Key to
represent Australia in Global Chef competition at the World
Congress. Funds raised will also go towards our South
Australian Secondary School Team to attend the International
Secondary School Culinary Competition.
