¥Mix 1/2-cup of s mall pebbles and 3 rus ty nails in potting
s oil when you plant s mall cuttings . T he pebbles keep the
s oil loos e and allows roots to s pread better; the nails add
iron and minerals to the s oil.
¥F or s hiny, healthy leaves on hous e plants , clean each
leaf every two weeks with a cotton ball dipped into mayonnais e.
¥If your plants are s itting in direct s unlight, be s ure to turn
the pot around every few days to promote even growth.

around the bas es of artificial flower arrangements to hide
