Type of Change (a) Interruption: Where you are temporarily withdrawing from your programme of study for a period of time with every intention of returning to the College. Please note that the maximum period of interruption allowed by the College regulations is two years. (b) Withdrawal: Where you are permanently withdrawing from the College with no intention of returning to complete your programme of study. (c) Transfer: Where you wish to transfer from your current programme of study to a new programme of study at King’s College London. This could be either within the same department or transfer to a different department. (d) Mode of Attendance: Where you wish to transfer from full-time study to part-time study or vice versa. 2. Change to module registrations: if the changes in status necessitate a change to your module registrations for the academic year in question, please complete a ‘Change to Module Registration’ form. Forms are available from the Assessment and Records Centre (via the Compass) or downloadable from the Assessment and Records Centre web pages. 3. Student Adviser: Please note that for certain changes to registration status or where you are currently studying in the UK under a Tier 4 Visa you will be required to contact the Student Advice & International Student Support Office for advice and ask them to sign this form. Failure to do so may result in a delay to processing your request and you may be liable for College fees until such time as your change in status is authorised. 4. Tuition Fees: Please note that you could be billed for tuition fees pro-rata to the date of interruption or withdrawal from the College. Any refund on tuition fees already paid will automatically be held on your account for future study. If you wish to claim back a refund you will need to contact Credit Control direct to request this. 5. Occupational Health checks: please note this question is only applicable for students registered on Health programmes. 6. Authorised signatures: Signatures are required from all departments concerned e.g. if you are transferring from a programme in War Studies to a programme in History, you will be required to obtain signatures from the losing and gaining departments. You should check with your Department who is authorised to sign the form as this depends on your programme of study and the type of change requested. Postgraduate Research students, signatures will be required from your supervisor and PARC Chair/PhD Coordinator (or equivalent). For certain changes a signature may also be required from the Head of Graduate Studies for your School.
