Geography
The Exam Board produces its own Revision Guide which can be ordered
through bookshops or Amazon.
This needs to be used selectively i.e. very good for Skills e.g. answering
questions, reading maps, graphs but don’t learn new case studies, read them to
help understanding but concentrate on learning case studies taught in lessons.
Departmental Revision Guide issued for Year 10 exams, Year 11 mocks and
Year 11 final exams.

The Mathswatch site provides excellent interactive learning and is a great
revision source to prepare them for their exams. There are many ways to find
what they want – by using the search box, selecting clip number, by grade or by
topic.

Every pupil has also got a personal login and password which can be used to do
online homework which may be set by the teacher or for the pupil to revise via
the online worksheets and online homework sheets allowing them to keep a log
of what they have done. One of the best parts of MyMaths is the Booster Packs
section which is on the left had side which can support progression through the
grades. Those pupils that need practice below grade D can benefit from the
three/four/six boosters.

Science - Core and
Additional (Double Award)
A revision guide covering Core and Additional with worksheets incorporated will
be available for £4.00 from the Science Prep room.
Science - Triple
Top up revision guides will be available for £2.50 each from the Science Prep
room to cover the extra Biology, Chemistry and Physics content. Students will
also need the double award book above if they haven’t already purchased it.
