Finally clip - on the front plate to the frame. 41 WEATHERPROOF INSTALLATION INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS EDISON Weatherproof Accessories enclosure has been elegantly designed, and has been made from a tough Polycarbonate material suitable for use either outdoors or indoors. Caution : ENSURE THAT PAINT, CHEMICALS, OR WOOD PRESERVATIVES DO NOT COME INTO CONTACT WITH THIS PRODUCT. 1. Read the safety instructions. 2. The enclosure must be mounted on a flat, clean, dry vertical surface (free from grease, dirt and loose material). 3. a. Mark the position of the 2 fixing holes on the wall, for the enclosure box. (see sketch 1) b. Drill holes and fit suitable wall plugs for securing screw. 4. Carefully remove the cable entry cap or break one or more knockouts, as required and fit the cable gland (not provided) suitable for 20 mm conduit. 5. Secure the enclosure box to the wall with two suitable screws (not provided). 6. Align and install conduit as required. 7. Complete wiring connections to the accessory terminals (on frame / lid assembly). Ensure that cables are not stressed and terminals are fully tightened. 8. Locate the ‘Frame/Lid’ assembly to the enclosure box (see sketch 2). 9. Ensure that holes are aligned and the gasket is seated properly on the enclosure box. 10. Open the lid and secure to the box, using the four captive screws provided. Do not over tighten the screws. NOTE: To maintain IP rating of this product, the lid must be closed and latched. These products offer a protection rating of IP 56, provided they are properly installed and the enclosure lid is closed. This enclosure is intended for surface mounting.
