Since its launch in 2009, Sony SxS-1 media has boosted flexibility
for professional videographers using XDCAM EX™ camcorders.
Now this highly affordable flash-based memory card expands
XDCAM™ applications with a new higher capacity of 64GB.
This makes SxS-1 ideal for shooting long dramas, documentaries
and sports events without high cost. Efficiency is improved on all
models with a transfer speed of 1.2Gbps, that’s 50% faster than

Transferring high definition video footage is now quicker
than ever with SxS-1. Both the SBS-64G1A and SBS32G1A cards can transfer data at up to an astonishing
1.2Gbps, that’s seven times faster than consumer
media and 50% faster than the previous generation of
SxS cards. Transfer 100 minutes of HD in just four minutes,
reducing the duration of non-linear video editing
and dramatically improving workflow efficiency. No
extra equipment is required to reach 1.2Gbps – simply
place the SxS-1 card in a laptop for quick and easy
convenience.

Rewriting Limit Notification with SxS-1
The lifetime function allows easy checking of the card
life on the latest XDCAM™ family camcorders* and
even displays an alarm when the data rewriting limit
has been reached. This convenient feature is exclusive
