The lectures are accompanied by demonstrations and experiments in laboratories, showrooms and studios, and the tour round the university campus. The topics of the lectures are based on the lecturers‘ specialization, but they are adapted to participants‘ age and interests. Each lecture is followed by a discussion and children are encouraged to ask questions. Children are given T-shirts with TUKE Children‘s University logo, as well as selected lecture materials on their first meeting. During the study children are provided with lunch at the TUKE dining halls, drinking schedule and attendance. Children have record books like university students. The study is concluded by a graduation ceremony performed in presence of parents and relatives, where the children receive their diplomas from the Rector of TUKE.
