Preliminary Qualifications • Alachua County residents • Applying for children ages birth-13 • Working or participating in an educational or training activity at least 20 hours a week • Total household income must not exceed 150% of Federal Poverty Level (FPL). See the chart below for the income guidelines. You must upload to your application your most recent paystub or school schedule to complete the process. You may apply from any internet accessible computer. For your convenience, ELCAC has computers set up at our office to apply. Completing more than one application DOES NOT give you a better chance of being called off the list. Please read the following information carefully The family portal allow you to revisit your application to report changes in your household status. You may also call the Coalition office to report changes. Please be sure to update your address so we will have accurate information in our database to contact you. If we are unable to contact you at any time you will be TAKEN OFF the Waitlist. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED WHEN FUNDING BECOMES AVAILABLE BY PORTAL NOTIFICATION OR A LETTER SENT IN THE MAIL. PLEASE ENSURE YOUR ADDRESS IS CORRECT. You MUST have the following items to begin the application process. Failure to submit these items will delay the process of your application.
