provided by the customer. Air-intake temperature is regulated
by RMS with integrated control. operation and configuration
via SNMP or http.

With UNIQLE, SCHÄFER is systematically implementing the principle of a
cooling system integrated in the server rack. The decision for integration
is a logical step.
Argument 1: Energy efficiency
n Low pressure loss, pump rating correspondingly lower
n Long fan lifetimes as fans are not mounted in heated sections
Argument 2: Space efficiency
Server space is not unlimited! And through the trend to higher and
higher computer performance accompanied by a greater packing density, server racks must guarantee a maximum of space efficiency.
This enables the maximum computer density per m² of floor space to
be achieved.

The UNIQLE modular, water-cooled highdensity Rack solution, gives you the perfect
operating climate for your high-performance computers.
The heat exchanger at the bottom of the
rack is supplied with cold water and provides up to 21 kilowatts of usable cooling
capacity. The cooling-on-demand principle
will supply the servers with precisely the
cooling capacity needed to cover the
server’s thermal requirements by means of
air circulation. Compared to static cooling
systems, this leads to significant energy
savings.

The UNIQLE system using 37 U to 58 U can
be assembles on less than one square meter
of space, depending on what is available.
This is possible due to the separation of the
air-water heat exchanger and the SCHÄFER
server cabinets (available in heights of 1800
to 2200 mm) into two units.
This way, UNIQLE combines high userfriendly availability with extreme energy
efficiency.
