For low-ceiling applications, Aerial provides good task light levels even with wide row spacing. The broad distribution reflector (BDR) option increases uniformity by reducing the footcandle ratios. In this example, the max:min ratio is reduced to 1.7 with the BDR option. 2. In task-ambient uses, Aerial provides sufficient ambient lighting with power densities well under ½ Watt per square foot. 3. To increase visual comfort by reducing contrast between the fixture and the ceiling, the semi-direct option adds some light to the ceiling immediately above the fixture.
