12 Fa-12 2-way active/passive speaker The Fa-12 is a 2-way active/passive speaker for full-range sounds, with a wave guided horn and a coverage H/V 50º/30º. This acoustic enclosure uses a new range of 12 speakers with ISV technology (interleaved sandwich voice-coil). This technology admits high pressure levels, thermic stability and durability. The system has also a phase checker which includes inside a high frequency driver. With this special design we get a zero time between the speaker and the driver. The 1,4 Neodymium wave guided driver turns the circular wave of the driver output into a rectangular surface, being perfectly coupled with the wooden rectangular horn. Made in multilayer birch plywood panelling and black vitrodur painted finish with four handles and 2 mm perforated zinc coated steel black finished. It includes also two speakon connectors NL4 (only in passive format) to be connected 1+ and 1 - . The enclosure has also two bakelite rollers in the bottom to avoid damages when it is dragged. On the top there are two scores of the same dimensions to make easier to stack it with another enclosure. The minimum recommended system is two stacks by side made up of two Fa-12 and two Fa-118. This system is specially indicated to be used in almost 30 metres distances thanks to the controlled dispersion and its high ouptput capacity. Is the perfect solution for live shows or night clubs.
