The wetted parts are made from 17-4PH Stainless Steel and are compatible with a wide range of process media. Each application should be checked for compatibility to ensure maximum working life is achieved. The series consists of 2 distinct types: Standard Duty – without integrated pulse-snubber Heavy Duty – with integrated pulse-snubber In systems where rapid changes of flow (ie. fast closing of valves or as a pump starts or stops) may occur, pressure spikes above the operating pressure due to liquid hammer / cavitation are likely. For these applications it is recommended that the Heavy Duty type is used. The design provides excellent vibration stability and exceptional robustness. The high degree of EMI protection equips the pressure transducer to meet most requirements.
