1. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE AND INSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCT
●This product is dedicated for use with ELMO QBiC.
Do not use the adapter with other equipments.
●Do not use the product with any cable other than the USB cable included with
QBiC.
●Do not drop the product or apply strong impact or vibration to the product.
It could result in malfunction. Do not handle the USB cable roughly. It could result in
wiring disconnection.
●Pay attention to the wiring of the cord so that a foot is not caught.

WARNING
If the product emits smoke, gives off a bad odor, makes strange noise, or in
anyway becomes abnormal during use, immediately remove the plug from
the outlet.
Otherwise, it could result in fire or electric shock. Wait until the smoke or smell or
noise stops, then ask your dealer for a check and repair. Never attempt to repair
the product by yourself, as there is a risk of electrical shock or fire.
Otherwise, it could result in injury or accident.
●Do not use the product outside the operating environments (temperature /
humidity).
It could damage the internal components.
Pay particular attention when using the product under strong sun light.
●For safety’s sake, remove the power plug from the outlet if the product is not going
to be used for a long period of time.
●When cleaning the product, remove the power plug first, then wipe off with a dry,
soft cloth.
Do not use chemical materials such as benzene, alcohol, paint thinner, household
detergent or disposable cloth. It could deform the product or damage the paint or
printing.
●Do not use or store the product in any of the following places:
- A place full of inflammable gas
- A place near flammable materials such as gasoline, benzene or paint thinner
- A place exposed to strong vibration
- A place exposed to chemical materials such as insect repellent, rubber or plastic
products for a long period of time
●Before connecting a device to the product, verify that the rated voltage and rated
current of the device meet the specification of the product.

Do not immerse the product in water or allow it to get wet.

Pay particular attention to this when using the product in the rain or snow, along the
shore, or near water.
Do not cover or wrap the product in a cloth or blanket when using it.
The inside of the product will become hot causing the casing to deform or leading to
fire.
Do not use a damaged cable. Do not bend or twist the cable with excessive
force.
It could result in fire or electric shock.
Do not use the product in a bath or shower room.
It could result in fire or electric shock.
Do not touch the product or the power plug during a thunderstorm.
It could result in electric shock.
Remove dust from the metal blades on the power cord plug before inserting
it to the outlet.
Otherwise, it could degrade the insulation and result in fire.

4. FEATURES AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Main features
・Power supply to QBiC from the wall outlet without a computer
・Supports input voltage AC100-240V,50-60Hz.
Supplied power plugs cover the power outlet of the most countries.
・The power plug can be rotated by 90 degrees, giving the user the possibilities
of using the product with many different types of power outlets or power strips.
Operating instructions ～Charging～
①Attach the power plug to the AC adapter.
CAUTION
Do not place the product in a dusty or humid place.

It could result in fire or electric shock.
Push the power plug to the groove of the AC adapter. Then slide the
power plug until it clicks.
Make sure to use the appropriate type of the power plug according to
the outlet.
●When removing the power plug from the AC adapter, slide it to the
opposite direction while pressing the lock button and pull it out.
Do not place the product in a place exposed to oily smoke, moisture or water
splash, such as near a cooking table or humidifier.
It could result in fire or electric shock.
Keep the USB cable away from a heat source.
Otherwise, the coating of the cord may melt and result in fire or electric shock.
Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
It could result in electric shock.
When unplugging the power plug from the outlet, be sure to hold the plug
part. Do not pull the USB cable.
It could damage the USB cable and result in fire or electric shock.
Unplug the power plug from the outlet when the product will not be used for a
long time.
Otherwise, it could result in fire.
Securely plug the power plug all the way into the outlet.
If the product is used with the power plug not fully plugged in, heat may be
generated or dust may be attached onto the blade, causing fire. Touching the blade
may result in electric shock.
Do not use the outlet if the plug is not fixed but loose.
It could generate heat and result in fire.
Contact your electric engineer to replace the outlet.
Do not touch the AC adapter during operation for a long time.
The temperature of the AC adapter may become elevated during operation and it
may cause low-temperature burns.
②Connect the AC adapter to QBiC with the USB cable included with QBiC.
③Connect the power plug to the power outlet.
④Perform the charging operation from QBiC.

For use outside your country
This product supports input voltage from AC100-240V, 50-60Hz.
By using the supplied power plugs, you can use this product with most hotel or household
power supply in most countries.
Make sure to check the type of power outlet in the area where you want to use the product in
advance.

Type A: Japan/ USA/ Canada/ Mexico etc.
Type C: Germany/ France/ Italia/ Egypt etc.
Type BF: UK/ Hong Kong/ Singapore/ Malaysia etc.
Type O: Australia/ New Zealand etc.
Do not use the product with commercially available electronic travel converter.
It could damage the product.
