The NZAB lighting fittings are qualified for use in
hazardous areas of Zone. 1 and 2 by the TIIS. The
lighting fitting consists of a flameproof lamp house and
an increased-safety terminal compartment. The ballast
consists of a flameproof ballast box and an increasedsafety terminal box. They are designed and constructed
thoroughly with carefully selected materials to provide
high reliability in protection against explosion.
◦Degree of protection : IP65
They have a dust- and jet-proof structure which meets
the IP65 requirements of the IEC standards, ensuring
trouble-free operation in outdoor use.
◦High corrosion resistance
The body is made of corrosion-proof aluminium alloy,
and the bolts are made of stainless steel.
◦Easy lamp replacement
The lamp can be replaced simply by loosening the four
bolts on the lamp cover holder.
◦Easy installation and wiring
Installation is easy since the body is suspended by a
union coupling at the terminal box. The terminal box
has power cable entries and a removable cover to
permit wiring work after installation of the lighting

◦Entries : four ways (G1/2 or 3/4 thread) with three
blind plugs
◦Guard (Cat. No. G) and external reflector (Cat. No. R)
can be optionally supplied.
