EDWARDS PEOPLE – LEADERSHIP TEAM Geert Follens President, Vacuum Solutions Division Mike Allison VP, SEMI & Display, Solar, LED With Atlas Copco’s acquisition of Edwards in January 2014, Geert became President of the Vacuum Solutions Division, having been with Atlas Copco in a variety of roles since 1995. Geert holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Power Generation from the University of Leuven, Belgium. Mike joined Edwards in 2008 from KLA-Tencor, a leading equipment maker within the semiconductor industry. He holds an advisory board position with the European Semiconductor Manufacturers’ Association. Mike has a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Glasgow. Gary Harte VP, Finance Koen Lauwers VP, Industrial Vacuum Gary joined Edwards in 1999 as Group Controller, from APV plc. He relocated to Singapore and Korea before returning to the UK in 2014 to take up his current post. He has a Bachelor of Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters in Organisational Behaviour from University College Dublin. Koen was appointed VP of Utility Vacuum in the newly formed Vacuum Solutions Division in 2014. Koen has been with Atlas Copco since 1997, and most recently was VP Marketing and Sales in the Industrial Air Division. Koen has a Masters in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the Catholic University of Leuven and an MBA from the University of Antwerp Management School. Malcolm Forrest VP, Operations Steven Goldspring VP, Service Malcolm joined Edwards in 1984 as a graduate engineer and has held the post of VP Quality since 2012. Malcolm is responsible for driving Operational Excellence across our Global Operations and Product Companies to ensure the needs of our customers and the business units are met. Malcolm has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds. Sue Rabbett VP, Human Resources Sue joined Edwards in 2000 and has held a number of global HR roles within the company. Prior to Edwards Sue worked in HR roles at the Co-operative Society and for British Airports Authority. Sue is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds a degree in Home Economics and Food Science from the University of Wales. Ian Stones VP, Technology Ian joined Edwards as a graduate engineer in 1993. He has held a number of senior roles over the years most recently as Director of Technology. Ian was appointed VP, Technology in February 2016, responsible for all Vacuum solutions pump and abatement technology. Ian has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Warwick University. He joined Edwards in 2012, having worked for more than 27 years at Honeywell Limited in a number of different international roles. Steve has a Master of Business and Technology degree from the University of New South Wales. Neil Lavender Jones VP, High Vacuum Neil joined Edwards in 1986 and has been VP, General Vacuum since 2013. During his career at Edwards Neil was based in Asia for more than 23 years, most recently as President, Asia Pacific. Neil holds a BSc in Metals and Materials Technology from Manchester University.
