Information
Bold lined stationery is printed in a variety of formats.
Lines are spaced at either 10mm or 15mm and are coded accordingly.
Squared paper is available with 10mm or 15mm squares and are coded
accordingly. Various other lined and squared sizes (for eg. 20mm or 30mm)
are available as specials. Please call Andre at 01302 965195 for details.
All formats are available in:

A4 exercise books - 210mm width x 297mm depth

School-size exercise books - 175mm width x 225mm depth
• Loose leaf packs of 100 A4 sheets - 210mm width x 297mm depth
Standard stock is printed with black ink on white paper with standard colour
covers.
No minimum order required on standard books
Special Orders
Special order books are printed on coloured paper, have different colour
covers or 50% or 75% greyscale lined or squared and are available at the
following prices (minimum order 5 books per order of same book):
• A4 and School Size Special Coloured covers
£3.67 + Vat = £4.40 ea
• 50% or 75% greyscale on white paper

Please quote Purchase Order Numbers on invoices. Please also include
teachers name or department that items are intended for on order.
If you are placing an order, please check with your administration or
school office that you have authority for making purchases so we can
avoid delays in settlement of our invoices.
Please can you send orders on your official letterhead or purchase
order form from school/department and send by one of three ways at
top of this page.
If you have placed an order for £20.00 or more, we will send your order
to you signed for, which carries a small charge.
Please note that we can only accept payment in English Sterling and
within 30 days unless by prior arrangement. Beyond 30 days interest
charges may be applied.
Supply of the majority of items is ex-stock and our aim is to despatch
within five working days where possible. However, seasonal
trends and holiday periods can affect this, so may take longer than
anticipated.

V I Assessment Packs
In order for support staff to provide the most appropriate form of
adaptation to their low vision pupils the Partially Sighted Society has
developed a Visual Impairment Assessment Pack which consists of:
a) Writing Assessment Packs (A4 and school size) which can
be used to determine the preferred stationery type for recording
purposes in the classroom.
b) Coloured Paper (A4 and School size) Writing Assessment Book
which can be used to establish the visually impaired pupil’s preferred
background colour.
The resources listed above will enable QTVI to accurately determine
the preferred stationery type needed by the visually impaired pupil
thereby ensuring the optimum conditions when recording and also
avoiding unnecessary or wasteful stationery expenditure.
Once a bespoke package has been established for the low vision
pupil, this information can then be relayed to the Society who will
provide the specified combination.
Also included in the pack will be a copy of this catalogue of products
currently offered by The Partially Sighted Society.

Typoscopes
Text actually covers only a small percentage of the area of the paper
it is written on, so the use of local task lighting can sometimes cause
glare from the reflection off the white or blank space.
Typoscopes cover the majority of the page leaving a small window
through which to view the text. They can also be helpful in tracking
along lines of text particularly when using high powered magnifiers
which have a reduced field of view.
Our typoscopes can be rotated so the viewing window can be used
horizontally or vertically. They also have an additional narrow window
to act as a signature or addressing guide near the bottom.
