We all have different
plans in life.
At Bank of Melbourne,
our commitment to you
starts with a conversation,
not a series of products.
Whatever stage you’re at in life, we’ll work with
you to build a financial solution to help you
achieve your goals. As your life changes, we’ll
be there to help you remain on track.
If you’re ready to talk about choosing the right
Bank of Melbourne everyday banking and
savings accounts for you, we’re ready to listen.
The right account for
how you live.
For some it’s where your salary goes and
“where’s the nearest ATM?” For others it’s a
stepping stone to long-term wealth creation.
However you see your everyday banking, you want your hard-earned
money ready to use when you want, where you want.
Whatever your priorities in life, having access to expert advice, local
knowledge and an ATM network around the country, could help you
get more from today and tomorrow.
To talk about the right everyday banking for you,
drop into your local branch or call 13 22 66.
Better banking
from a better bank.
Why sign up for an everyday banking or
savings account from Bank of Melbourne?
Here are a few reasons.
We’re always accessible. With a broad network of ATMs
you can access your money when and where you need it,
plus a whole lot more.
We’ll work hard to earn your trust. We’ll get to know you
and what’s important to you. And the best people to advise
you are often those closest to you.
We make decisions here. We don’t like to handball. That
means quick response times. So if you want to open an
account, in most cases, we can set you up on the spot.
We offer you a single point of contact. Whatever your
financial needs, a familiar face or voice will be there to help.
We live where you live. So as well as sharing an interest in
seeing the neighbourhood succeed, we have an intimate
knowledge of how the local area operates.
We recognise local loyalty. With us, loyalty really does count.
The broader your portfolio, the more you could benefit.

Bank of Melbourne SENSE Account
Two accounts, one statement. An everyday transaction and
savings account, working together to help you get ahead.
We wanted to make it easier for the savers among you to
keep track of exactly what you’re saving and spending. So we
thought it made sense to bring two accounts together on the
one customised monthly statement.
Our SENSE Account gives you unlimited access to Internet
and mobile banking, Phone banking or at Bank of Melbourne,
St.George, BankSA or Westpac ATMs. Deposit a minimum
of $2,000 into your SENSE Everyday Account by the last
business day of the month, your salary for example, and
we’ll waive the monthly fee. There is no monthly fee on your
SENSE Savings Account.
Your monthly statement comes with a graph that separates
your spending into ten expense categories. It’s no substitute
for your own budget or financial plan but it gives you a good
idea of where your money is going every month.
Track your
spending
and savings

If you have a savings target in mind, the SENSE Savings
Progress Graph on your statement lets you track your
savings each month.
A few cents here, a few cents there, it all adds up. Unique
to SENSE is a savings feature that automatically rounds up
your SENSE Everyday purchases using your Visa Debit Card,
Freedom Card and BPAY, to the next dollar. The rounding
amount is then transferred to your SENSE Savings Account,
so your savings are always growing.

You may have the best intentions but temptation is
everywhere, especially around sale time. To encourage you
to stay on track towards your savings goal, we created the
Incentive Saver Account.
On top of a competitive interest rate, this account rewards
you with bonus interest every month you make at least one
deposit and no withdrawals. Another incentive is no monthly
account service fee. If you really need to access your money,
you can do that too.

Debit cards
It’s your money. With a Visa Debit Card you can shop online,
use it overseas, or pay bills over the phone. Rather than
relying on credit, a debit card gives you easy access to your
own money and even greater control of your finances.
Visa Debit Card
If money talks, your Visa Debit Card speaks most languages.
It’s accepted at over 30 million locations around the world
and because you’re using your money, not credit, it’s a great
way to manage your finances and keep your expenses
in check. Your Visa Debit Card comes with the state-of-the-art
security of FalconTM to help protect you from any
unauthorised transactions. Link your Visa Debit Card to
your Bank of Melbourne transaction account, Complete
Freedom, Express Freedom, Complete Freedom Student,
Bank of Melbourne SENSE Account or Retirement Access Plus.

Deposit only Card
To be a good saver, it helps to eliminate the temptation to
spend what you’ve already set aside. Our Deposit only Card
lets you access your account information, but unlike
a standard ATM card, won’t let you withdraw your money
– a sure-fire way to help keep your savings growing.
