April 12, 2014 from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Providence Cancer Center Amphitheater on the campus of
Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, Ore. Presentations for clinicians will be in the amphitheater
and exhibitor booths will be in Classrooms A-D in front of the amphitheater.

Medical Society (UHMS) and the Columbia Wound Care Consortium (CWCC). The UHMS is accredited by the ACCME to provide

Designation: The UHMS designates this live activity for a maximum of 3.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should

Nursing CEU: Will be provided by Wound Care Education Partners (12900 Calais Circle, Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Florida Board of
Registered Nursing Procider #50-10881) for up to 3.0 Credit hours.

Target Audience: Wound care professionals practicing in the greater Portland / Vancouver metropolitan area.
Objectives: At the completion of each lecture, each participant should be able to (subject to change): Wound Healing in Irradiated
Tissue: List the mechanisms of action for HBO2 for treatment of radiation tissue injury. Describe the appropriate work up for patients
with late effects of radiation tissue injury. Describe treatment protocols commonly used for treatment of radiation tissue injury with
HBO2. Wound Care Billing and Coding Challenges: Identify common pitfalls in billing for wound care. Understand the documentation
requirements for certain procedures. Develop a system to accurately document and bill for wound care procedures. Case
Presentations: Identify a diagnostic or treatment challenge that was highlighted by this case. State how this case might change your
current practice. Consider how you might have handled the case differently. All topics address professional educational gaps identified
through a survey of CWCC members.

Speakers:
We will have a projector and workstation running PowerPoint, so all you need to do is bring
your presentation on a USB drive. Mac users will need to bring a laptop and the adaptor that
connects their Mac to the VGA cable attached to the projector.

The Providence Cancer Center Amphitheater is located on the first floor of the hospital
north of the main entrance. The closest parking garage is off N.E. 47th Ave. and north of
the cancer center (see map.)
Enter the front entrance of the cancer center from the north parking garage and turn right
then left. Pass the reading room and turn right. The amphitheater is down on the left.
From the south parking garage take the sky ramp from the parking garage pass through
the double doors and continue straight. Follow signs for the amphitheater. From the main
hospital entrance continue straight. Follow the signs for the amphitheater.
