As it maximizes efficiency1 by seamlessly switching between its 2.0L Atkinson-cycle gasoline engine and

PLUG-IN SIMPLICITY.
With its illuminated charge port and standard 120-volt convenience charge cord, Fusion Energi Plug-In Hybrid gives
you the additional option to plug in or not. Recharge its large-capacity lithium-ion battery in about 2.5 hours using
a Ford recommended 240-volt home charging option,1 or 7 hours using your home’s standard outlet. Please see

As you drive, Fusion Energi decides whether to run on its electric motor alone or to turn on its 2.0L
Atkinson-cycle gasoline engine as needed. On short commutes, it may run all-electric and use
no gasoline at all – even while cruising at highway speeds. Fusion Energi has a fuel consumption
rating of 2.7Le/100 km (105 MPGe) city/hwy combined (electricity + gas),3 an all-electric driving

BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System)1 alerts
you with a light in either sideview mirror1 if its radar
sensors detect a vehicle in the corresponding blind
spot. Cross-traffic alert, part of the system, notifies
you with a beep and a warning light in your sideview
mirror if it detects a vehicle approaching either side
as you slowly back Fusion out of a parking space.
Either way, BLIS with cross-traffic alert helps keep
you aware of things that may be just out of your line
of sight.
A NEW LANE-KEEPING SYSTEM1,3 can detect lane markings
and apply torque to the steering wheel if it senses your vehicle
drifting unintentionally out of its lane. If needed, the LaneKeeping System can also send gentle vibration pulses to the
wheel to prompt you to steer back toward centre.4 If it detects
you’ve come too close to − or crossed – the markers multiple
times, a Driver Alert System2 displays a coffee cup icon to
suggest taking a break from driving.
PRE-COLLISION ASSIST WITH PEDESTRIAN DETECTION
including collision warning, brake support and active braking1
fuses information from a forward-facing camera and radar
technology to help in various driving situations.2 The system
monitors the proximity of Fusion to other vehicles, as well as
pedestrians. If a potential collision is detected, collision warning
can alert you with visible and audible signals, so you can take
action. If needed, brake support will precharge and increase
brake-assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when
you brake. And if the system determines a collision is imminent,
active braking may automatically apply the brakes.2
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH
STOP-AND-GO1 uses advanced radar
technology to scan for slower vehicles in front
of you. It can automatically adjust your vehicle’s
speed to maintain a preset gap from that vehicle.
The system can be used at both high and low
speeds, and can even follow the vehicle in front
of you to a complete stop.

WHEN PARKING, THERE IS NO PARALLEL.
After just one use of its Enhanced Active Park System,1 you’ll never go back to parking Fusion the “old-fashioned” way.
Whether you’re backing into a perpendicular spot or slowing down to parallel park, ultrasonic sensors can identify a
parking space that is the right size, then the system steers the vehicle into it. All you do is follow on-screen prompts, and
operate the accelerator, brake and rotary gear shift dial as needed.
The system can even provide steering assistance when pulling out of a parallel spot. And in parking manoeuvres,
the Forward and Reverse Sensing Systems provide guidance by emitting beeping tones to alert you to objects
near the front, rear or sides of Fusion. No second guessing. Much less stress.

FUSION PLATINUM
THE ULTIMATE IN REFINEMENT.
More rare than even gold, platinum signifies ultimate luxury. One look inside and you’ll know how Fusion
Platinum got its name. In addition to the standard leather-trimmed heated and cooled front seats in Medium
Soft Ceramic, the instrument panel and console rails are leather wrapped and stitched, while leather also

HERE TO THRILL.
Introducing Sport.1 One hot new Fusion. Ready to greet the street with 325 horsepower.2 Its distinct appearance is
backed by a new 2.7L EcoBoost® engine, the most powerful ever offered on Fusion, and a paddle-shifted 6-speed
SelectShift® automatic transmission. To handle all that thrust, a modified sport-tuned suspension and standard
Intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD) can combine to deliver a taut ride, precise cornering and extreme road-holding finesse.
To help you adapt quickly to changing road conditions, Fusion Sport features Continuously Controlled Damping
(CCD) with new pothole detection. 12 different sensors in the system read the road – and your driving input –
500 times per second, then quickly adjust the firmness and damping of all 4 wheels to help Fusion be in better
harmony with the road surface. If a pothole is detected, the system reacts so quickly that it can adjust the shock
absorbers to help reduce the severity of impact to vehicle occupants. Hit the Sport setting to tighten suspension
tuning, firm up steering calibration, and enjoy a more powerful engine sound inside the cabin – all while feeling
more connected to the pavement.

braking force to the inside front wheel as needed to help more torque reach the road, this standard system helps
Fusion stay firmly planted. Helping to keep things stable, particularly in inclement weather, is standard AdvanceTrac®
ESC (electronic stability control).1 To further enhance Fusion performance, there’s Intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD).2
This fully automatic system continuously monitors and predicts traction, transferring power between the front and
rear wheels as needed, typically before wheelslip can even occur. It’s designed to effortlessly improve handling
