GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This detailed and professionally-crafted electrical fuse
cutaway, depicts a common dual-element, time-delay
industrial fuse, as commonly used on motor and pump
starting circuits. This common piece of electrical safety
hardware is found in manufacturing facilities, petro-chemical
plants, refineries and other similar industrial, and commercial
applications.
The device includes a formed-steel mounting assembly,
allowing for stand-alone display, bench-top mounting, or
mounting on specialized DAC mounting benches and support
structures.
Through careful sectioning, the complete internal
configuration of the fuse can be seen. All arc-quenching filler
material has been removed while all primary internal
features including the overload and short-circuit elements
have been retained and showcased.
