As a financial professional, Nana works with individuals, business owners and their employees to help them achieve
their financial goals. Nana is passionate about helping her clients achieve their financial dreams. She holds her
Series 6 and 63 securities registrations as well as her life and health insurance licenses. Prior to joining The
Principal®, she was briefly affiliated with Mass Mutual as a Financial Representative.
Nana graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Dokkyo University in Japan. She
continued her education and received two Master Degree’s — one in Agribusiness Management and the other in
Political Science from Mississippi State University. Since 2011, Nana has been teaching Japanese Culture at Mt
Hood Community College. Nana is an active community member; she participates in Portland Connect, Leach
Botanical Garden, Japan America Society of Oregon and the Sogetsu Ikebana International School (Portland
Branch).
In her personal time, Nana enjoys competitive walking and participates in the Annual Hood to Coast Relay. She has
been a member of the #1 team for the past 3 years. When she’s not competitively walking, she enjoys spending
time with her family and friends.
