Lisa has been in the field of donor relations and development for over 12 years. She and
her team established the Donor Relations department at Syracuse University in 1998,
gradually taking on responsibility for all donor recognition and stewardship activities at the
University, both centralized and in collaboration with the University’s schools and units. This
included donor agreement and gift management, scholarship administration,
stewardship/endowment reporting, donor communications, acknowledgements, gift society
recognition, and donor cultivation and recognition events and activity. As Executive Director
of Donor Relations she reported to the Vice President and Chief Development Officer, and
was part of the Development senior strategic planning team. She moved to the Maxwell
School in the fall of 2008 as Assistant Dean for Development, and in that role is responsible
for developing and overseeing the fundraising strategies, activity, and communications for
the School.
Lisa co-chaired the inaugural 2004 ADRP International Conference and is currently the
organization’s Treasurer. She has served the ADRP in several capacities, including
membership on the Executive, Finance and Technology committees. She has spoken about
donor relations and stewardship at numerous conferences and workshops, both for ADRP
and other organizations, and in 2007 she chaired the CASE Conference for Donor Relations.
Lisa received her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany.
