To reduce the risk of electric shock, insure electricity has been turned off at the circuit
breaker or fuse box before beginning.
2.
All wiring must be in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local electrical codes.
Electrical installation should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.
3.
WARNING : To reduce the risk of electrical shock and fire, do not use this fan with any
solid-state fan speed control device.
4.
CAUTION To reduce the risk of personal injury, use only the hardware (and lock washers)
provided with the fan for mounting to the outlet box.
5.
WARNING S To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury, mount fan to
outlet box marked acceptable for fan support and use mounting screws provided with the
outlet box. The outlet box and support structure must securely mounted and capable of
reliably supporting at least 35 pounds.
6
The fan must be mounted with a minimum of 7 feet from the trailing edge of the blades to the
floor.
7.
Do not operate reversing switch while fan blades are in motion. Fan must be turned off and
blades stopped before reversing blade direction.
8.
To avoid personal injury or damage to the fan and other items, be cautious when working
around or cleaning the fan.
9.
Do not use water or detergents wtieri cleaning the fan or fan blades. A dry dust cloth or
lightly dampened cloth will be suitable for most cleaning.
10 After making electrical connections, spliced conductors should be turned upward and
pushed carefully up into outlet box. The wires should be spread apart with the grounded
conductor and the equipment-grounding conductor on one side of the outlet box and the
ungrounded conductor on the other side of the outlet box.
11. Electrical diagrams are for reference only. Light kits that are not packed with the fan must be
UL Listed and marked suitable for use with the model fan you are installing. Switches must
be UL General Use Switches. Refer to the instructions packaged with the light kits and
switches for proper assembly.
12. WARNING To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not bend the blade brackets when
installing the brackets, balancing the blades, or cleaning the fan. Do not insert foreign
objects in between rotating fan blades.
13. Ceiling fan models marked "Suitable for Damp Location Use" or marked "Suitable for Wet
Location Use" should only employ light kits identified for use in damp or wet locations.
14.
The installation is to be in accordance with the National Electrical Code, ANS/NFPA

CARE AND CLEANING
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
Check the integrity of the fan's mechanical support connections at least twice a year. Simply
remove blade assemblies and decorative housing for examination of mounting bracket
support and screws conditions. There is no need to remove fan from ceiling.
Examine the integrity of the blade assemblies once a year.
Periodic cleaning of your new ceiling fan helps maintain the appearance over the years. Do
not use water when cleaning your ceiling fan. It could damage the motor or wood blades and
create the possibility of an electric shock.
The housing is sealed with a lacquer to prevent any dcoloration or tarnishing. Therefore, only
use a soft brush or lint free cloth to avoid scratching the finish.
You may wish to occasionally apply a light coat of furniture polish to the wood blades for
added protection and to enhance their beauty.
The fan motor has permanently lubricated ball bearings. There is no need to oil the motor.
