machines since 1995 with a hundred machines installed all
over the world.
A new multimedia man-machine-interface, partially to be
personalized by the operator through the selection of different software options available and allows the use of the
machine in a correct and simple way.
Prima Power BCe Smart introduces new principles for modern semiautomatic machines by innovating new technologies and by enhancing intelligence that combined with operator ability makes this machine easy to use and eliminates
the margin of error.
BCe Smart revolutionizes the tradition of all semiautomatic

Ease of use
Ergonomics
The new BCe Smart allows the operator to simply load the
new blank to be bent and unload the ready component in
a unique work sequence.
The operator workplace is designed to maximize productivity and security by increasing operator comfort.
All the necessary stacking operations of the finished components as well as loading of the next part to be bent can be
performed while the machine is working.
The part does not need to be centered manually against the
reference gauge pins but is quickly loaded and pre-centered
with the use of a LED reference bar.
The absence of physical barriers allows the operator a safe
work area and freedom to concentrate only on the parts to
be bend.Obstacles could reduce machine efficiency and put
the safety of the machine operator at risk.
When the operator needs to bend heavy parts, the wide
access to the machine without physical barriers allows also
loading / unloading of these panels easily assisted by a manual lifting manipulator.
The visual message displayed on the info screen - combined
with the acoustic signal - prevents human mistakes and
guides the operator through the bending process from
loading to unloading.
A brush worktable with sheet support rollers facilitates
loading of parts to the machine.
A 3D programming system offers a complete simulation
of the working cycle thus making the first program run easy
and reliable.
Two different worktable setups offer the best loading solution.When the operator needs to load large or mediumsized sheet metal blanks, the worktable can easily be tilted
down to facilitate the loading of a blank onto the brush
table.
The use of the barcode reader allows running of dynamic
production queues automatically.

The control panel is integrated in the safety barrier and
allows an optimal view of the whole working and loading
area.All you need for improving your productivity is at your
fingertips.
Info screen guides the operator
through the bending process
from loading to unloading.
Active safety
The active safety engineered for the BCe Smart ensures
the highest safety conditions for the operator without
loss in productivity.
High efficiency is guaranteed by a CNC safety integrated
system and a laser scanner for a safe loading area that
monitors the presence of the operator.
The laser scanner recognizes “the warning zone” and
reduces the movement speed of the machine if the operator enters this area. In event of a further approach, the
machine operations stop.
Light signals with different colors and sound warnings
advise the operator in case of excessive approach with the
risk of danger and consequent accidental stopping of the
machine.
Naturally, the machine is also equipped with traditional
safety elements such as safety barriers and rear and lateral
safety doors with electro locks that close the entry to the
working area when the axes are moving.
Emergency stops are mounted in reachable positions to
ensure safe operation at all times.

Reliable bending
Prima Power servo electric technology, together with the
bending angle correction database, allows a reliable and
excellent bending quality and repeatability of the components.
A 3D programming system enables a complete simulation
of the productive cycle in order to facilitate the operator
work and make bending reliable.
The innovative 2D or 3D CAM (optional) reduces the
direct labor assigned to bending and set-up and enables
easy and reliable part programming.
Further to facilitate the use of this simple but efficient
machine, the bending cell can be customized with a wide
range of options such as automatic tool change, additional
short blades with symmetric and asymmetric programmable axes etc.
