What is the Associate of Applied Science General Technology (AAS GT) Degree?
The Associate of Applied Science in General Technology Degree is designed for students who have unique
career goals. It allows the student, through a structured advising process, to build a coherent technical
program from more than one technological area.

Sixty (60) hours are required in this degree; forty-five (45) of those 60 hours are electives as approved by
your advisor.

Once you complete the application process and declare a degree, you will be assigned an advisor with
expertise in your chosen degree. It is important for you to develop a good working relationship with your
