WARRANTY POLICY
Overview:
National Batteries Limited warrants only to the original user that all Panasonic VRLA batteries
will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from
the date the battery is shipped from National Batteries Limited. We will at our option make
any necessary repairs and/or exchange the defective battery without charge. National
Batteries Limited will only accept batteries returned for credit or exchange unless we have
authorised the return in writing.
All Panasonic VRLA batteries are warranted to be free of defects in materials and
workmanship, and are manufactured in accordance with Matsushita Industrial Battery Co Ltd
Panasonic VRLA specification. Should a claim arise the following is our limited warranty policy:
Conditions:
1. A battery will not be considered defective unless it fails to deliver 50% of its original rated
capacity during the warranty period.
2. Each battery must be of the proper size, design, and capacity for the application it is being
used in at 25° Centigrade or 77° Fahrenheit (float services only).
3. The warranty period shall be adjusted based on actual operating conditions such as
temperature and frequency of charge/discharge cycles as published by Matsushita
Industrial Battery Co Ltd. The warranty period will be reduced by 50% for every 15°Fahrenheit (8° Centigrade) increase in operating temperature above 77° Fahrenheit (base
temperature).
4. Each battery must be charged, discharged, stored and serviced in accordance with the
manufacturers’ written instructions.
5. National Batteries Limited is not responsible for batteries that fail due to improper charging
or installation; broken container or cover; damage caused by fire, excessive heat,
wreckage, explosion or freezing; or damage caused by abuse or neglect.
Claims:
Upon satisfactory proof of claim as determined by National Batteries Limited we will:

At our discretion either repair or replace the defective battery for a period of twelve (12)
months from the date of original purchase.
Not accept any product for return, credit, or exchange unless expressly authorized by
National Batteries Limited and return freight if applicable prepaid to National Batteries
Limited.
Limitations: The warranties set forth herein are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or
implied or statutory, including the warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The
warranties provided herein may not be assigned or transferred by the original user, and are the exclusive
remedy for all claims, damages, or loss arising out of defect or failure of a Panasonic VRLA battery, and
National Batteries Limited is not liable for consequential, incidental, commercial, or property loss or
damage, whether based upon tort or contact obligation.
