Course Aim:
This fully funded WorkReady Jobs First STL course* is intended for those wanting to pursue a career in the Electrotechnology Industry. Participants will learn basic electrical principles and practices. Successful completion of all units will
provide participants with an entry level qualification in the Electrotechnology Industry.
Duration:


10 weeks of intensive training plus industry based work experience
Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm
This course will provide you:







Nationally Accredited Training
Industry specific training by qualified and industry experienced trainers
Whitecard, CPR, Work Health and Safety training
Personal Protective Equipment
Mentoring throughout the program and preparation for work placement and employment opportunities
Guidance on CV preparation, interview skills, and dealing with clients
An invitation to attend a post program interview with PEER VEET Group Training Organisation at the completion of the
program
Pathways into:


An Apprenticeship in Electrical, or Refrigeration and
Air Conditioning, or Data Communications
Employment or further study in Electrotechnology or related fields

Eligibility requirements:





Good understanding of Mathematics and English
Unemployed or a job seeker working 17 hours per week or less
Resident of South Australia
Aged 17 or over and not enrolled at school
An Australian or New Zealand citizen, or permanent Australian resident, or hold a state sponsored visa on
a pathway to permanent residency
