Personnel: Black Tie Catering will provide you with all the necessary staffing required for your event. Staffing is based on the number of guests, duration of the event, and style of service. The logistics of the function site are also important considerations certain events may require more staff due to challenging conditions. Most off-site weddings or other large events require a minimum of a function coordinator, a beverage server, service personnel and a chef and kitchen personnel. Personnel is attired in a French waiter-style black apron and black dress pants, pressed tie and black dress shirt. In addition to the positive responses to our cuisine, client confidence in our staff continues to be one of our strongest assets. All personnel is billed at $35.00-$45.00 per hour based upon a minimum of four hours. Travel outside Portland is billed at $15 per hour per staff member. Gratuity is optional.
