every single part goes through
various baths, such as acid degreasing, fresh water rinsing,
rinsing with completely desalinated water, chrome-free passivation
• Electrostatic neutralisation –
the individual components are
electrostatically neutralised by
chemical keying
• Powder coating – the pre-treated
parts are dried in a contact
moisture dryer and immediately
powder-coated automatically
• Manual check – manual examiners check that the automatic
pistols have sprayed every
component properly, and if necessary they are touched up
• Ecologically friendly and economical – excess spray powder
is fed back through pipes and
re-used on the next order for the
same colour

• Perfection by baking – the fresh
powder coating must be baked
on for 35 minutes at a temperature of 200 °. The powdered silk
lustre painted components cool
down in the cooling zone before going directly to assembly
and so to completion of the
finished product

in two colours. There are
usually 6 standard colours to
choose between for the head
and front rail end caps

weinor awnings and patio coverings can be colour-matched to
your walls, windows, roof or
patio furniture. We have 47 silk
lustre shades of colour at no
extra cost, and which can be supplied without delay. In addition,
there are 8 metallic and textured
colours available as trendy conservatory colours for a small extra
charge.

Sparkling iron effect
weinor supplies coloured crank handles. In the case of
RAL 9016 traffic white and all other colours, the crank
handles are supplied in jet black (RAL 9005).
Depending on the frame colour ordered, we supply all
small parts, crank handles and gears for units with a
crank mechanism in black (similar to RAL 9005), white
(similar to RAL 9016) or grey (similar to weinor 7319).

in powder coatings, despite the paint manufacturers’
best efforts it is not always possible to guarantee stability of the shade of colour; bleaching, especially of
the colour Blazing red (RAL 3000) cannot be ruled out.

impact and scratch resistant in
silk lustre.
Two colour awnings
The awnings can be made visually
even more interesting by using
two colours.
Small parts in contrasting colours
Most weinor awnings are available with small parts such as
trims or headplates in contrasting
colours. There are 6 colours
available. RAL 9016 traffic white,
RAL 9006 white aluminium, RAL
5017 traffic blue, RAL 1003 signal
yellow, RAL 6005 moss green and
weinor 7319 weinor grey.
8 trendy conservatory colours
with self-cleaning effect
Modern architecture needs modern colours. With their finely
structured metallic or iron look,
the trendy conservatory colours
in the weinor colour collection
fit the bill. These coatings are
highly scratch resistant, hard
wearing and suitable for conservatory awnings. Their molecular
structure gives them a self-cleaning effect. Water on the surface
forms into droplets and so it can
carry dirt away with it.

available for an additional
charge.
