CISRS Basic Scaffolding Part 1

The Cape Training and Assessment Centre in the Philippines is the only centre outside the UK accredited by the Construction Industry Scaffolders

Record Scheme (CISRS) to offer Basic Scaffolding. Cape’s Basic Scaffolding

Part 1 course aims to provide an introduction to scaffolding, covering the safe erection and alteration of a range of scaffolding structures. The Basic Scaffolding Part 2 is a course designed to provide candidates both theoretical and practical knowledge in addition to those offered in

Basic Scaffolding Part 1. The CISRS Scaffolders Skills Test is designed to assess if the candidates can demonstrate the skills learned during the CISRS Basic Scaffolding Part 1 and 2 courses: safely erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding in line with the objectives approved by CISRS. By the end of the course successful delegates will have demonstrated their competency in the safe erection, alteration and dismantling of basic scaffold structures covered in the CISRS

Scaffolding Part 1 and 2.

Scaffold Inspection is designed for all Supervisors and Managers required to inspect, record, and approve scaffold structures. By attending the course, candidates will gain knowledge of the requirements for inspection of scaffold tubes and fittings on work platforms. This Scaffold Inspection training course is intended for persons responsible for inspecting and checking scaffolds for safe use and in accordance with statutory regulations. Cape conducts Rope Access training under the Industrial Rope Access

Trade Association (IRATA), which is the only internationally recognised certification scheme for industrial rope access. The aim of this Level 1 course is to introduce candidates to the basics of the rope access industry to allow them to work under close supervision of a Level 3 supervisor.

Forklift Truck

The Forklift Truck course offers training according to the Road Transport

Industry Training Board (RTITB) standards. RTITB is recognised by the United

Kingdom Health and Safety Commission as well as the Philippine Health and Safety Commission under Health and Safety at Work Act of 1974
