• Smooth, rounded integral bushings in hubs protect conductor
insulation.
• Accurately tapped, tapered threads for tight, rigid joints and
excellent ground continuity.
• Wedge-Lok™ Form-IN-Place covers with integral gasket are
approved for use in wet locations. Grayloy-iron bodies with cast
covers and gasket are approved for use in wet locations.
• Unique Wedge-Lok™ clip cover design allows easy removal at
any later time, without damaging the conduit body. The cover is




bodies, gaskets and covers. Equivalent FM7 and Form 7™ units
have identical applications and installation dimensions.

pulling, and more room for splicing. Fits flush and snug against
flat surfaces for more stable installation.

insulation. Smooth hub openings allow easy conduit joining.

screwdriver seating and torque. Cover screws and clips are
captive to prevent loss.

Applications:
Standard Finishes:
EYS and EZS sealing fittings:
• Restrict the passage of gases, vapors or flames from one portion
of the electrical installation to another at atmospheric pressure and
normal ambient temperatures
• Limit explosions to the sealed off enclosure
• Limit precompression or pressure "piling" in conduit systems
Sealing fittings are required:
• At each entrance to an enclosure housing an arcing or sparking
device when used in Class I, Division 1 and 2 hazardous locations.
To be located as close as practicable and, in no case, more than
18" from such enclosures
• At each conduit entrance of 2" size or larger to an enclosure or
fitting housing terminals, splices or taps when used in Class I,
Division 1 hazardous locations. To be located as close as
practicable and, in no case, more than 18" from such enclosures
• In conduit systems when leaving Class I, Division 1 or Division 2
hazardous locations
• In cable systems when the cables either do not have a
gas/vaportight continuous sheath or are capable of transmitting
gases or vapors through the cable core when those cables leave
the Class I, Division 1 or Division 2 hazardous locations
• Feraloy iron alloy and ductile iron – electrogalvanized and
aluminum acrylic paint
• Steel – electrogalvanized

Features:
EYS and EZS sealing fittings include:
• Minimum turning radius
• Large openings with threaded closures to provide easy access to
conduit hubs for making dams
• Integral bushings in conduit hubs to protect conductor insulation
from damage
• Taper-tapped hubs to ensure ground continuity
EYS sealing fittings are available for installation in either vertical only
or in both horizontal or vertical positions.
EZS sealing fittings for installation at any angle; the covers with
opening for sealing compound can be properly positioned to accept
the compound.

TYPE - LT
A general purpose flexible, non-UL spec grade liquidtight steel conduit designed for a variety of installations requiring
motion, vibration and bending. It offers good mechanical and moisture protection to enclosed conductors.
CONSTRUCTION:
The flexible inner core is made from a spiral wound strip of corrosion-resistant plated steel. The 1/4 through 2 inch
trade sizes are squarelock formed and, with the exception of the 1/4 inch size, contain a nylon cord packing within the
convolutions.
The larger sizes are constructed with a fully interlocked strip for added strength and to prevent unraveling.
A flexible yet durable PVC jacket is extruded over this core creating a liquidtight conduit resistant to most oils, acids
and vapors present in industrial environments.
Refer to the Chemical Resistance Chart.
APPLICATION:
This conduit is used extensively in the machine tool and other industrial environments where flexibility is necessary
for installation and maintenance, or where vibration and movement must be absorbed. The inherent Sunlight
Resistance of PVC enables this product to be used in outdoor applications. Compatible with Standard Liquidtight
Connectors.
JIC Manufactured in accordance with the dimensions and specifications as outlined by the Joint Industrial Council
Standard for Mass Production Equipment and Machine Tools.
Tests Include:
WEEE and RoHS Compliant
STANDARD COLORS:

Designed for Quality and Efficiency
At Wheatland Tube, we leverage our
experience and the latest technologies
to meet your quality, time and budget
requirements. We offer rigid aluminum
conduit from 6063 aluminum alloy, T-1
temper — a “marine grade” alloy that
ensures strength and corrosion resistance.
The lightweight design allows for easy
installation, saving you time and money.
Green and Sustainable
Rigid aluminum conduit contains recycled
aluminum and provides decades of
reliable service. Conductors can be easily
removed and new conductors inserted.
Additional circuits may be added in the
same conduit, as permitted by the code.
Rigid aluminum conduit can be almost
totally recycled at the end of its life.
Wheatland also offers a
full line of EC&N products.
Visit wheatland.com to learn more!
Tested and Certified for Safety
Our rigid aluminum conduit is UL®
Listed. It is manufactured in accordance
with ANSI® C80.5, UL 6A and federal
specifications WW-C-581. The pitch of
aluminum conduit threads conforms
to the American National Standard for
Pipe Threads, General Purpose (Inch),
ANSI / ASME B1.20.1. The taper of
threads is ¾ inch per foot (1 in 16). Rigid
aluminum conduit offers good mechanical
protection. It naturally resists most
corrosive atmospheres and industrial
environments, so no extra coatings
are required.
