Dr. Sylviane Toporkoff created and launched the “Global Forum / Shaping the Future” initiative in 1992 and has run this annual event for over a decade. Her academic research and
numerous contributions to projects around the globe, for the private and public sectors, including for the European Union, enabled her to build a unique and high quality network of
relationships among those who shape the future of our society, in Europe, the United States, Japan, South East Asia, Latin America and elsewhere.
FOUNDATION SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS
The Sophia Antipolis Foundation was created in 1984 by Senator Pierre Laffitte, and received state-approval for playing a fundamental role in the development of scientific and cultural
activities. The purpose of the Foundation is to encourage the exchange of ideas and cooperation at a French, European and international level, in scientific, industrial and cultural matters
in order to create a new entrepreneurial culture, thereby turning Sophia Antipolis into a laboratory for experiments of the future. Sophia Antipolis is a Science Park that prides itself as
a best practice site for innovation, recognized today as one of the most dynamic and fastest growing technology and scientific hubs in Europe.

ANUIT
The Italian Telecommunications Users Association, Anuit, was formed in 1989 and is located in Rome. Today Anuit has among its members the most important Italian manufacturers,
banks, trading companies, public utilities, service companies, insurances, publishers and press agencies. The main national company associations are members as well. Anuit, which
is a non-profit, non-party association, has the following aims: to represent the interests of the users of telecommunications systems both in the national and international arena; to
promote research, study and spreading of knowledge on telecommunications; to support the best utilization of telecommunications systems; to cooperate for national and international
rules’ adjustment in accordance with technological development and users’ needs.
Anuit is an active member of the International Telecommunications Users Group (INTUG) and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).
PALAZZO TAVERNA
The Palazzo Taverna is the most romantic Palazzo in Roma, the ancient abode of the Borgia and the Orsini, it is located in the heart of Rome between Piazza Navona and Castel
S.Angelo. It was built in the 13th century and referred to by Dante in his literary masterpiece “The Divine Comedy”. The palace boasts a picturesque courtyard and a magnificient 17th
